Hallee Hughes, a recent graduate of Willamina High in Oregon and a Nevada-Reno signee, placed second in the women's 17-18 division javelin throw final with a sixth-round effort of 144 feet (43.89m) at the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Hughes also took third in the 17-18 division discus throw final with a 140-8 (42.88m) performance. More videos |
