Kyeese Hollands, representing Albina Roadrunners and Central Catholic in Oregon, placed second in the women's 17-18 javelin throw final with a fourth-round effort of 142-8 (43.50m) at the USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships at Sacramento State. Hollands, entering her senior year, produced a personal-best 152-7 (46.50m) performance in June at Nike Outdoor Nationals at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore.
