Yan Vazquez, representing Arizona Flames Track Club and a graduate of Red Mountain High in Arizona, won the men's 17-18 400-meter hurdles title in 51.31 seconds at the USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships at Hornet Stadium at Sacramento State. Vazquez, a UCLA signee, will represent Puerto Rico on Aug. 3 at the World Athletics U20 Championships in Cali, Colombia.
